I have spent more than three decades solving complex problems across business, technology, and operations.
I began at 18, building and operating automotive diagnostic centers. At their peak, the business had three locations and a team of 15 engineers. Every difficult failure had to be broken into smaller, testable problems until the real cause became clear. That early training shaped the way I have approached every problem since.
That perspective followed me into global business. I have built companies, invested across industries, and structured and negotiated more than $5 billion in transactions across real estate, technology, and finance.
Born in Canada, I have lived and worked across Canada, the United States, the UAE, India, and Mexico. Experiencing different markets, institutions, and operating environments changed how I see business complexity: the surface may change, but the underlying problems can still be isolated, understood, and solved.
Today, as founder of Argus AI Labs, I bring that operating perspective to intelligence architecture—turning consequential knowledge into governed systems people can use to make decisions.

Relevance Is Not Applicability
Reconstructing Law in One of the World’s Most Complex Regulatory Environments: Evidence from Mexican Federal Tax Law
Retrieving text related to a legal question is not the same as identifying the authorities that actually governed. Based on six months of system construction and evaluation, the paper examines where retrieval-based legal AI fails—and defines seven conditions a source must satisfy before it can support an answer.
1,403question research corpus
7applicability conditions
72required-authority instances traced
The research converts an observed system failure into an architectural requirement: intelligence systems must preserve time, authority, provenance, institutional competence, factual scope, legal function, and dependency completeness—not merely retrieve similar language.
